Deliverable: Identification and quantification of small molecule metabolites and proteins in biological matrices (breath, saliva, urine, plasma). Provide multivariate statistical analyses (PCA, PLS-DA, Hierarchical Clustering) to assess profile pattern changes.

GC-EI-QTOFMS and LC-ESI-QTOFMS based metabolome profiling (targeted and untargeted analyses)

Instrumentation and Target Analytes: LC-ESI-QTOFMS based proteome profiling (targeted and untargeted analyses).
- Proteome profiling methods utilze “bottom-up”, gel-free approaches such as ICAT and MudPIT and Isobaric Tag for Relative and Absolute Quantitation (iTRAQ). Quadrupole time of flight (QTOF) mass spectrometry, which incorporates multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) for selective targeted analysis of peptide precursor fragment ions.
Deliverable: Identification and quantification cannabinoids and metabolites for medical and forensic applications.
